Acupuncturist and Tuina massage therapist

Ms Wai Han Kwong (known as Kanny) is a UK qualified acupuncturist and Tuina massage (Chinese medical therapeutic massage) therapist. She was trained to use traditional Chinese medicine theory for a holistic approach to treat individuals. Being a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), her clients may be able to reclaim the cost of their treatments from their private health insurance policies recognised by BAcC.

She has been practicing acupuncture and Tuina massage in the Whittington and the North Middlesex hospitals during her study at Middlesex University as well as in private clinics in the UK since 2011.

Upon graduating with a first class honours degree in her BsC in acupuncture, Ms Kwong went to visit well-known Chinese Medicine hospitals in China to further develop her knowledge in acupuncture.

Her mission is to provide their clients with holistic care, to improve their health and wellbeing, using Chinese acupuncture, cupping and Tuina massage.

Ms Kwong has got a broad knowledge of treatments in a range of different health conditions, but she is also keen on further enhancing herself in treating post-stroke patient care, neurological disorders, infertility, skin conditions, facial rejuvenation acupuncture, weight loss, stress or emotional related concerns, musculoskeletal conditions and women’s health including dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, menorrhagia, irregular menstruation and menopausal syndrome.

Ms Kwong was born in Hong Kong and has been living in the United Kingdom since 1992. She speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

These allow her to widen her client base. Her core professional value is to treat patients as her own family members with care and put their health interests as the first priority.
