FAQ

Acupuncture - Are the needles like regular needles?

No these are special acupuncture needles. They are hygienic, are only used once and come in a variety of sizes depending on what they are used to treat.

Acupuncture - Can I move around when the needles are in?

No, never.

Acupuncture - Does it hurt?

Acupuncture can hurt as needles are being inserted into your tissues. Also, these needles may hit a nerve ending. However, a skilful acupuncturist should be able to insert the needle in less than a second so any pain felt will be barely recognised. Pinching your muscle should hurt more than the acupuncture.

How often should I see a physiotherapist?

Depends on the condition and stage of rehabilitation, it also depends on how often you do your home exercises, and it can depend how quickly you want to return to your exerting physical activities.

Will I have to do extra stuff on my own?

Yes, always. The more you do, the quicker you will be cured!
