FAQ

Sports Massage - How much will it benefit me?

You only need to read our customer review to see how much of a benefit it has been to various people. Sports massage is not relevant for all pain and a more intensive treatment may be needed. However, for the dysfunctions which can be resolved with sports massage, it is a highly beneficial form of treatment.

Sports Massage - Is it worth paying for, can I not simply get better on my own?

No. Pain is there for a reason and is your body's way of flagging a problem. You need to get to the root of the problem. The initial consultation which is free at Physio-Medicine, should help identify the source of the problem and after the initial assessment the practitioner will recommend what further treatments you need.

Sports Massage - How many sessions will I have?

The amount of sessions depends on what you want and what you need.

Acupuncture - Will I ache afterwards?

Research shows that acupuncture done to the calf and shoulder muscles may ache afterwards but again this is the exception rather than the norm.

Acupuncture - Will it make me bleed?

It may make you bleed the way a pin prick will, but this is not a regular occurrence. If the needles hit a blood capillary, they may bleed a tiny bit.
